Summary
Short version: an AU where Tommy Merlyn didn't die, and is around for season 2 of Arrow.
Long version:
Tommy Merlyn has spent most of his life being an expensive disappointment to his family, but now he's a part-owner of a semi-successful nightclub in the worst area of town (it's seriously looking up) alongside his best friend, who — after five years on a deserted island — decided to come back to be a freaking vigilante. It's a long story, one that's longer than Tommy wants to remember, but it took the Glades collapsing and the death of one of their best friends to get him officially done with being a troublemaker. Nothing interesting. Just running a nightclub, and trying not to get into any trouble.Oliver's been gone god knows where for most of the summer, which means he's stuck being the big brother to the guy's snarky little sister, whose boyfriend "Ron" seems completely set on getting himself killed. An afternoon of test-driving Verdant's new cocktails gets interesting when Felicity Smoak and John Diggle show up asking (more) questions about where to find Oliver, and Tommy has to decide whether he wants to keep his new rule.
Spoiler alert: he doesn't.

After the death of her husband, Donna Smoak sends her daughter to live with a notorious Bratva Captain, and her daughter is less than pleased. Felicity can't get a straight answer from anyone about why she was now living at the Queen Mansion and though it has its ups, like Thea Queen, John Diggle, and Felicity's new bodyguard Roy Harper, there are definitely some downs.Like almost being killed and the hot and cold Mr. Oliver Queen.
When Felicity realizes that she will be staying in the mansion for the foreseeable future, she decides to not only find the people trying to kill her but also try and figure out the mystery that is Bratva Captain Oliver Queen.
And she really hates mysteries.

Summary
Arrow can be a bit dark so these works are a happier, fluffier version of that Arrow world. Just a few things to note:
1. There is always a Team Arrow and Olicity focus (not a lot of love for the Lance sisters)!
2. While there is a loose connection between the stories, there's no need to read them sequentially or read everything in order to follow along.

Felicity Smoak has had a rough couple of years and all she wants to do is move on with her life and start her own tech company. After an incident at Queen Consolidated, she quit and accepted a job working as a technical analyst and computer expert at the Starling City Police Department, where she’s stuck for at least another year thanks to the non-compete clause she signed in her Queen Consolidated contract. But as much as she’d rather be in the tech world, she does love being able to help others. Plus she gets to do that with the help of a certain Detective, who she may or may not be attracted too.
Oliver Queen just finished five years in the Army Special Forces and is only working as an SCPD Detective because his best friend and fellow soldier, John Diggle, said it would be good for him to help pull his life together after years of hardships in the military. Oliver expected to hate the job, but what he never expected was meeting the IT girl with a heart of gold and her own demons to deal with.
