Summary
Jon is certain Martin has been acting strangely all morning. When Martin offhandedly mentions he took a bad tumble off the tube to work, Jon suddenly Knows that the fall had given Martin a nasty fracture. Summary
In an attempt to pull Jon away from his work and take a break for once, Martin manages to drag him out to a small park. Trying to fill the awkward quiet, Martin persuades Jon to “brain google” some useless trivia, just for fun. This ends up including some of the passing thoughts of people walking by them on the street. Jon is begrudgingly willing to play along at first, but after a while finds he’s genuinely enjoying himself. Things actually seem to be going rather smoothly for a change, until Jon begins to lose himself in reading the thoughts of others, and unwittingly manages to lock onto Martin’s own internal dialogue.
Which is a bit of an issue, as the only thing that Martin's been thinking about for a good while now is how incredibly attractive Jon's smile is.

"Well, sorry to break it to you Mikes, but don't think you'll be getting that luxury with the vampire."
Michael just rolled his eyes, sending Elias a withering look. "You know, it's just a bit sad at this point, how hung up you are on this whole vampire thing."
"You...really don't think it's a vampire, do you?" Elias sounded incredulous.
"No..." Michael began apprehensively, "On account of them not being real. I just said that."
"Hey, sort of a strange question," Elias began, bemused, "Do you believe in the supernatural? Like, any of it?"
"No, not really. Why? Is that so strange?"
"Do you," Elias broke off, seeming to struggle with the statement, "Even realize where you work?"
--
Elias and Michael end up hiding for their lives in a coat closet while investigating a statement together. Michael has a hard time dealing with the existence of vampires, and Elias turns out to be a surprising source of comfort. -

Summary
Doug is generally a pretty chill guy. That's sort of his whole thing. But bending so easily to everything means that when he finally does snap, he breaks hard. And after dealing with a failed love confession in the worst possible way, he finds it's getting more and more difficult to regain his flexibility.
Lest is generally pretty bored. And with Selphia existing in relative peace, he finds a source of entertainment in pushing Doug to his breaking point.
[In which Doug rejects a love confession from Frey with a stunning lack of tact and an attempt by Lest to get back at and humiliate the source of his best friend’s misery turns into something more.]

Summary
Felix smirked as he pinned Sylvain to the ground, knocking the sword from his hand. A sound victory. Yet it didn’t feel that way: they were both panting heavily, and Felix imagined his face was just about as flushed as Sylvain’s. Small beads of sweat clung to his hairline and the muscles in his shoulder were already beginning to ache from being held in such an odd position for so long.
This couldn’t have been comfortable for Sylvain either. Yet for some reason, he didn’t seem in any hurry to shove Felix off him. Instead he merely squirmed a bit, smiling up with half-lidded eyes.
“You know what, I’ve changed my mind,” he said hazily, “I think I might like this better than going to the dining hall after all.”
