Gris pulls a shirt from the dryer, shakes it once and lays it in the basket tucked under his arm.
“No.”
Enjin pouts as he leans against the doorway, his shoulders spanning most of the frame.
“You don’t even know what I’m going to ask.”
“And I don’t need to know,” Gris says patiently, smiling as Enjin further smooshes his lips in a pout. “It’s the first Friday of the month, and you want me to race Sheila. No.”

"How would you feel," he ventures tonight, only once they're well out of earshot of anyone else, "about getting naked?"
Reno chokes, spluttering tea back into the to-go mug Iharu had handed him. "What," he rasps.
Iharu is trying his best to appear unaffected, but the tips of his ears are turning red, and he can't look Reno in the eye. "It's just… we've tried everything. I wasn't gonna suggest this at all, if I could avoid it, but," he shrugs and sighs, a picture of resignation. "It's actually the top recommendation, y'know. Rescue workers, mountain climbers and the rest, countless forums and articles– they all say the best way to get someone warm, quick and safe-like, is to both get naked. And like. Cuddle, I guess."
