Summary
Makima, for as long as she could remember, had never been given the opportunity to form relationships with other people. For those who claimed authority over her, she was but a weapon to be wielded, a threat to be made, a lynchpin to maintain a house of cards. Thus, she comes to the conclusion that her desire to love and be loved must come in the purest, most raw form of a bond between two people: Motherhood.
..Or, a fic in which Makima adopts a young Denji and showers him in love, because Part 1 of CSM fucked me up hard and I just want Denji to be happy. Requested by an individual on r/chainsawfolk after I had already been ruminating on the idea. Enjoy!

Summary
Himmel excels at heroics—daring rescues, spectacular victories, and, perhaps most of all, putting his own feelings aside. At the close of a ten-year journey, resignation is the rule of his life, and he'll wait.
Problem is, finding an orphaned young elf was not in the cards when he made that plan, and the fact is that no one is more qualified to advise him on the matter than the woman he swore to himself he wouldn't chase.
(Or: Himmel acquires a daughter, Frieren is confused, and everything—finally—comes back around.)

Summary
A kingdom inhabited by bugs. These bugs are believers, both willing and forcibly taken. Some take the role with pride, others do not realize their role at all.
A stranger arrives, offering freedom from the dreams that stalk Hallownest. But will the grief of losing her world make it impossible to save her new one?
---
This is my personal interpretation of the premise and ideas in Hoops, String, and Other Placebos. Things like characterization, how certain canon events went, etc, will differ. Indefinite hiatus.

Summary
As she took in deep, gasping breaths, trying to steady herself, she heard an odd sound.
It was... laughing?
No.
It was crying.
Shiori turned her head toward the narrow, dark mouth of the alleyway and nearly screamed.
A small, filthy creature covered in unnameable substances, stared back at her with the biggest blue eyes she had ever seen. Was that... blood? And on closer inspection, she was horrified to realize it wasn’t an animal at all. It was undeniably human.
A human child.
(Or! An author from our world gets reincarnated in Konoha, takes one look at Naruto, and decides that she had Parental Feelings about that.)

Summary
"—So…” Daruk coughed. Revali’s sharp gaze snapped over to him. "Turns out he’s the chosen hero of the legends.”
Revali sputtered into a stunned silence.
“Bullshit, that’s impossible!” His feathers rustled as he balked. “He was sent by the Demon King!”
“We know that, but— he has the mark of the goddess on his hand,” Urbosa snapped. “The rest of us saw it. If you don’t believe it, you can see for yourself.”
The Rito didn’t even deign to give the unconscious swordsman a glance.
“Hero or not, we’re not letting him off the hook just like that,” Revali’s voice climbed an octave. “He’s too dangerous— we saw what he’s capable of. We have to kill him while he’s still weakened!”
“We aren’t killing him,” Zelda asserted again. This time, she lifted her eyes. Her voice held a note of cautiousness, but it was still unshakeable.
“If we’re to even hope to defeat the Demon King, we need the hero on our side. We have to take him with us.”
[In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.]
