Draco couldn’t believe his ears. Did he hear that right? His jaw slacks open in shock.
“Shut your mouth before you catch a fly, Malfoy. Suck. It. UP!” Hermione’s voice hitching up with every word, her eyes hard, nostrils flaring, fists clenched, and Draco thinks she looks like everything he’s ever wanted.
Draco snaps his jaw shut, crossing his arms over his broad chest. “Anything for the gold, right?”
He puts his hand out for her to grab as she eyes it skeptically.
She soon deflates and laces her fingers with his.
He absolutely does not feel a spark.
“Anything for the gold.”
[Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are now pairs in training for the 2024 Olympics.

Summary
With Voldemort defeated and war-free life ahead of them, the Golden Trio and their other surviving classmates begin to figure out what they want to do with their lives. When the opportunity to return to Hogwarts to finish their magical education arises, many of them jump at the chance. As the newly established eighth-year students, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and twenty others try to remember what it feels like to be normal.
This fic follows the twenty-three returning witches and wizards through their eighth year and beyond, is mostly feel-good content and shenanigans but also touches on the process of their healing and the trauma they all experienced in the war and aftermath, is HUGE on inter-house relationships (everyone in the eighth year lives in a new wing) and is "slow burn" Dramione.
