Ah, yes that is the sound of Chuuya’s footsteps coming down the stairs that Dazai cannot see. He’d recognize that walking pattern anywhere.
Even while drugged and half dead, Dazai puts a performative grin on his face, fully expecting some snide remark from Chuuya as he turns the corner where he can see into the cell Dazai is in.
Dazai watches in amusement as Chuuya freezes upon his vibrant blue eyes falling upon Dazai, and the bandaged man grins wider.
Now, all Dazai has to do is get his mouth to function well enough to request Chuuya’s assistance in breaking the manacles. Not that he really needs the help. Yeah, it would speed up his break out, but if Chuuya is in a pissy mood, he’ll make do and break out on his own.
Dazai is not expecting what happens next.

Cheng Xiaoshi grins behind him. “Oh? He speaks.”
Lu Guang shuts his eyes. Tight. His thighs twitch, and Cheng Xiaoshi feels it—of course he does. The way he chuckles low means he’s not sorry. At least not fully.
“...You okay?” Cheng Xiaoshi finally asks it, quieter this time. Fingers slowing on his waist, no longer teasing. Just there. Just real.
Lu Guang doesn’t nod, but his breathing evens. One side of his face rubs lightly against the pillowcase.
There’s stickiness still between his thighs. The kind of leftover heat that makes his body feel too full. Cheng Xiaoshi sighs like he knows what needs doing.
“Don’t move,” he murmurs. Then shifts off the bed.
Lu Guang stays, of course. He wouldn’t be able to sit up even if he wanted to. Not with the way his spine feels like melting glass.

Day 2 — iced drinks
The ice clinks in the glass between them.
Cheng Xiaoshi hums against his mouth, playful, greedy. Then he pulls back a little, breathless but smiling like a boy with something to hide.
"Yours tastes better."
Lu Guang narrows his eyes. "You already had the same drink."
"No. Yours has your mouth on it." Cheng Xiaoshi licks the corner of his lips. "Might be psychological, might be gay. Probably both."
"Both," Lu Guang confirms.
Cheng Xiaoshi lets out a soft, giddy laugh and shifts, one knee slipping between Lu Guang’s legs as he pushes him gently back more against the couch. It’s unhurried, but heavy—Cheng Xiaoshi’s weight, his thigh pressing in, the heat between them folding over itself.
"Don’t spill that," Cheng Xiaoshi mutters, nudging the glass in Lu Guang’s hand with his forehead before taking it and setting it down beside them.
"You’re sweaty."
"You’re not exactly air-conditioned either."

But he knows that he doesn't look at him the same anymore, his heart beats differently when he's with him now, he always knew Cheng Xiaoshi was pretty but why was he even prettier now that they were in highschool! Well, he more got into "handsome" category ever since he started growing his hair out and had a small ponytail on, not that Lu Guang realized it,it's just there! It's impossible to not zone out on his neck and how his hair sticking out to different sides when his seat is just in front of him! But it's fine. He'll just ignore it till it becomes too much to carry, till even thinking of Cheng Xiaoshi become too much to carry.
