It all reflected her smile so wonderfully, in Taco's own opinion. She lit up seeing how excited her girlfriend was at the surprise that she wanted to show her for hours on end, Taco feeling her own cheeks begin to rise with warmth as she stared lovingly at the woman of her dreams right in front of her bursting with pure joy.
Anytime spent right next to Microphone always felt like a dream, but Taco knew it was one of the sweetest realities that she could experience in the present. It felt like nothing else mattered in the moment inside of the grand space that echoed out their giggles as they continued to explore the place while staying somewhat glued to each other's sides as they pointed out each little thing as they made their way through the secluded building.

Summary
Why did she have to reach out to Microphone the first time, both when they first had met, and second when Taco apologized with all her heart to Mic months later after their incident? Why did Microphone have to hold her cursed hands, and bring her into the light? Why couldn’t Microphone just leave– but why would Microphone have any reason to do so?
(Taco always wondered why Microphone let her back into her life.)or, Taco learns to both love and healthily communicate all the same.

Summary
Nobody could truly be around Taco without noticing the few holes in her plan, her story and her shell both figuratively and literally. Taco had become such a good liar, that she became so bad at telling the inconvenient truth.
(Maybe if they could talk one more time, Taco could tell Microphone all of the secrets that had found themselves buried inside of her head and heart, stitched away from all of the hurt and anguish felt throughout the years.)

Summary
Grief: defined as, 'a deep sorrow in response to someone's death.'
Yet, to many, grief can be applied to various other situations: the loss of who you once were, the loss of goals, the loss of virtues— betraying the past and venturing forward, ignoring the shackles of sorrow that keep the personage tethered to the sensitive fibers of reality. Yanking the restraints, ripping that fabric apart, risking lives to rip the bandaid off and save a multitude of others...
Perhaps that is the true meaning of it. And Test Tube believes that experiencing those same things over and over again could be unwanted, additional weight.or; "THAT FANFIC WHERE FAN GETS BULLIED ON TUMBLR AND CREATES ONE OF THE WORST DOMINO EFFECTS EVER."

“What was that?” Microphone panted, looking up at Taco with anger gleaming in her red-rimmed eyes. It seemed like the experience that was nothing short of a thrill for Taco was the exact opposite for her.
“Your first near-encounter with death, I would assume,” Taco said coolly, bringing her blade to sit on her shoulder. “It certainly won’t be your last, with this job. Which is why you have to be better. Now again. Shoulders back.”
Microphone squared her shoulders without a second thought. Taco smiled. Yes, now she was going to get somewhere. Now that the realization that this was not just a game, just a job to get paid for.
This was a gambling ring, one where you would win, and win, and win…
And then right at the end you lose. You lose everything.
