Summary
"When Blake gets her first serious boyfriend Sun gets sympathetic pats on the shoulder and promises she'll come around eventually. He hopes so, but not for the reasons people think."
Blake is is soulmate, there's no doubt about that in Sun's mind, and if you ask Blake she'll give you the exact same answer. But the idea of kissing her, of dating her, leaves him fidgety and uncomfortable, like sitting in front of a mirror and watching yourself make out with your hand. Or something. Blake's the wordsmith out of the two of them, he'll ask her for a better analogy at some point. That's why they're soulmates after all; they make each other the best, happiest versions of themselves. Sun just wishes everybody didn't think that meant they had to be in love.

Summary
The blow comes out of nowhere, a breathtaking impact from what Rio will quickly discover to have been the flat of a shovel against her side, sending her sprawling into the dirt.
“You have five seconds to explain yourself,” comes the voice of her assailant from somewhere above her, a vague blob in the dim evening light. “Or I’m calling the police.”
“Wait! Please!” Rio gasps, fumbling to tap at her phone screen until the flashlight comes on, and then—whoa. The night is dark and full of gorgeous, shovel-wielding terrors, apparently. Dark hair, blue eyes, miles and miles of smooth skin exposed by the floral robe tied haphazardly around her. The sight alone is almost worth the wicked bruising that Rio can quite literally feel herself developing. “I swear I’m not some creep.”
The woman looming over her supine form snorts inelegantly. “That’s what they all say.”

Agatha finds Rio hiding from her ex in her azaleas and chaos ensues.
Things get even more awkward when Rio discovers that the woman who smacked her with a shovel in the dead of night is going to be a guest lecturer at her university for the semester.
But hey, that’s just life in Westview.

“You know,” she said, tilting her head slightly, “I’m sorry about the coffee. Seriously. But maybe you should take a breath next time before jumping down someone’s throat. Could be good for your blood pressure.”
Agatha froze. Her pulse quickened, her face hardening.
“Maybe you should mind your business,” Agatha shot back, stepping closer, her eyes narrowed with a newfound sharpness. “I didn’t ask for your opinion.”
Dr Vidal didn’t flinch, though her lips curled into a knowing smirk. “Okay, then. I guess I’ll just keep walking, try not to get in your way.” She started to move past Agatha, but before she could completely step around her, she paused.
“And for the record,” she added with a mischievous glint in her eye, “if you're having a terrible day, maybe don't make it everyone else’s problem. Just a thought.”
With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, her footsteps light and confident, leaving Agatha standing there, fuming.or Dr. Agatha Harkness, reeling from a messy divorce, relocates across the country with her child to start from scratch. There, she meets the infuriating yet brilliant Dr. Vidal, who challenges her in ways she never imagined.
