Summary
Nessa is a young rabbit linguist working for the Royal Adventure Society, currently translating ancient texts for the purpose of locating the famed Serpent's Eye. When the king's traitorous brother Lapin learns about the treasure, he uses Nessa to help him escape prison, then kidnaps her and forces her to guide him to the Serpent's Eye. Nessa may hate her smug, duplicitous captor, but she might just discover there's more to him than meets the eye.
Alternate/pre-canon for the movie. This takes place when Chickenhare is much younger and Peter is still looking for treasures other than the Hamster of Darkness (which may or may not exist in this universe).

Summary
MacKenzie's life was perfect as it was until the people who he cares most about are being taken away from him. Now after his paretns death, he is all alone. What started out as a fun weekend ends in a tragedy. And the tragedy won't stop there. Learning how to pick up his life again, living with grief, a uncertain future, family in a other country who might take him back and away from his friends (or not), a Heeler family that wants to help him as good as they can but have to face a corrupt government agency and a farmer with bad intentions who is looking for free labour are challenges that the young border-collie has to face and overcome.
