Summary
Man is beset on all sides by a tide of darkness, teetering on the edge of extinction for as long as anyone can remember. Yet still they fight among themselves. They war, they exploit their fellows, all for the sake of greed and ambition. Mankind has never been at the top of the foodchain, but from within the safety of its kingdoms that fact is easily forgotten. What would happen then, if the beasts are no longer just at the walls? Can mankind survive hidden monsters in their midst, or tooth, claw and paranoia rend them asunder?
On a brisk spring day, a young woman arrives at Beacon for the new year of school. Blake Belladonna, a woman who has experienced the full extent of the elite's evil, has come to gain the power needed to tear it all down. Hellbent on revenge and afflicted with an ever-growing desire to maim, kill and devour her fellow man, her actions will determine mankind's fate.
