Weiss was sick of her father trying to barter her future for profit. Leaving the protection of the city was a death sentence, but honestly that was preferable to the slow death she'd suffer staying home.
She certainly wasn't expecting an angel to fall from the heavens and slay the monsters that had plagued humanity in front of her.
And she really wasn't expecting them to know who she was, or to look at her with such care in her eyes.

We're all aware of the story of Ruby Rose within Remnant-71813 thus far, as she and her team and friends play their part in the ongoing war between Ozma and Huntsmen and Salem and the Grimm. But then we see certain events of Remnant-199999 and it's unexpected mergings with Remnants-96283 and 120703(the events of Scarlet Spider: No Way Home: https://archiveofourown.org/works/39202788/chapters/98084742). All three being versions of Remnant being very similar to certain versions of Earth such as Earth-199999, 616, or 1610. It had been a long day, and Ruby was exhausted. Well it was more accurate to say it had been a long life, or series of them.
She’d thought when she’d fallen into the Ever After that things might start to get better. Heck she’d found this weird place, and her semblance had changed, evolved like Ren’s had!
Time Travel! How cool was that? Ok, well it was more like she could only go back to the point where she’d first unlocked her semblance, but still!
With that she could go back, and change things, help prevent so many deaths, and save everyone! At least that had been her thought.

Summary
Weiss Schnee has always hated how Atlas treats the Faunus. She hates how Atlas treats women. She hates how Atlas treats LGBTQ+ people. She hates how they think wealth means anything. She hates the gilded cage she was born into.
Ilia was all but born into the White Fang. She had to join and has spent much of her time growing up learning how to fight for the cause. She has now become an assassin for the White Fang and is in deep cover for a mission to deal a massive blow to Atlas society.
Weiss Schnee was an avid reader and focused on the Faunus. She wants to know more about them. She wants them to rise above in society... and perhaps even above humans. She dreams of the day that she can help the White Fang more directly. But she has just never been given the chance.
{This story is going to updated less frequently since each chapter is massive. This is a story that connects to my crossover series Jedi Huntress, but in an alternate timeline. I will bring Jedi Huntress over to AO3 at some point too.}

If she makes it to the end of two years independent of everything that comes with being a Schnee, she will obtain everything she ever wanted, but if she throws in the towel at any point she forfeits her position as Heiress, but will be allowed to return to her familiar lifestyle.
