Hizashi went to turn around and ask what Tokei meant when the villain suddenly startled. “Where did my gun go?!” He looked at the villain and noticed that the gun was in fact, no longer in the villain’s hand. Not wanting to waste the opportunity to catch the villain while he was off-guard, Hizashi lunged forward and grabbed for him. Just before he was able to reach the villain, he seemed to have disappeared. “What the hell?!”

Summary
Izuku doesn't know why the day keeps resetting. He doesn't know why he's trapped on campus, or why there's no phone reception, or why Aizawa and Shinsou keep losing their memories of the Saturdays they've already lived, while Izuku remains constantly, painfully aware.
But he does know this: Aizawa and Shinsou keep dying, over and over again, in more brutal and creative ways. And it's his job to save them.

'Once he's a little more present, Izuku's not quite sure how long that takes which is quickly starting to become annoying but the thought drifts away before he can really comprehend it, he speaks, "It doesn't feel real."
The quiet droning of Aizawa's calming voice stops before starting again, but this time Izuku is able to understand what he's saying, although it takes him a moment to process, "What doesn't?"
He shrugs, "Everything."'

Izuku has had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. After being hit by a quirk that makes you emotionally numb, he finds himself struggling in the common room. Bakugou, Aizawa, Toshinori, and Hizashi are here to help.

“Answer me,” Hitoshi urges through gritted teeth, throwing his anger to the front of his mind so he won’t break down in tears. “Damn it, Midoriya. Answer me.”
Eyes hooded, listless with blood loss, Midoriya stares at him without seeing him. His mouth lolls open, and not a single sound comes out.
No. No. This is their last option. Hitoshi has no more ideas save this one. It cannot fail before it starts.
He bares his teeth, vicious as a kicked dog, and tries. “Midoriya Izuku. If we were ever actually friends in the first place, you will answer me.”
Sometimes, when the world is on the line, somebody has to play god.
