Summary
“So,” he says, after a bit, the sound of Mozart accompanying them, “Has something happened in my absence?”
Leonie looks at the ceiling, “No, David, while you were away on your little pleasure trip, the whole of Venice held its breath waiting for you.”
David sends her a glare, then turns to Sara, “A non-sarcastic response?”
Sara stops playing and turns around. “There’s the new boy.”
David raises his eyebrows, “A boy?”
Sara smiles and folds her hands in her lap, “No, the boy.”
Leonie groans.
Or, an 18th century AU set in Venice, featuring David as a painter, Matteo as the new boy in town, and a lot of pining.

Summary
It’s the third day of Hannukah when David gets a message from his parents.
He is trying to draw the view outside their windows, all the roofs and the lights hanging from the balconies, but he keeps messing up the perspective. He is about to erase it all out again, when his phone vibrates with a new message.
He opens it and when he sees his father’s name, he lets the phone drop to the floor.
Or, a story in which David thinks about the festive season and his relationship with his parents, Matteo is his usual annoying self, Hans and Mia are insomniacs, and Laura is a good sister.

Summary
One day, Matteo had come into his room, where David was sitting on the bed and drawing, and he had said, looking slightly muddled and holding both of their toothbrushes, “I just realized that my whole bathroom cupboard is filled with your things. Want to save even more space and move in together?”
So here he is, taking his old drawings from the walls and trying to remember where the fuck he put that one old pair of shoes that he never wears but actually likes very much.
“I can’t believe this is over.” Laura says, next to him on the floor.
Or, a story about finding a family, ancient heroes, moving in together, pfannkuchen, lonely gods, depression, and seashells.

Summary
When Jonas saw Matteo and Sara make out at the party, he was certainly surprised, as Matteo had shown absolutely no previous interest in Sara or really in any romantic relationship before, but he was also proud of his friend; look there, he had said, elbowing Carlos, our little Luigi actually has moves!
(It’s probably either the inherent italian charm or that typical Matteo-ish charm that does it. It’s the mix of awkwardness, idiocy and surprising sweetness that had first drawn Jonas in, too)
Or, Matteo’s and Jonas’ friendship through the years, through Jonas’ PoV

Summary
The snow was cold and silent as it fell on his face. It felt almost like a hand brushing his brow, a promise whispered by a lover, a smile given by a fascinating, wonderful stranger.
Or,
Montparnasse, a thief and a master of shadows, of unheard steps and hushed voices, wasn't expecting someone to be following /him/.
