Summary
Your eye is then drawn by movement in your periphery, and when you look up you see the mannequins are now swaying slightly. Some of them seem to be pushed by some sort of breeze that you can't feel, but others are almost writhing, wooden limbs moving unnaturally as though the inanimate objects were feeling pain. Professor Sharp looks upwards as well, his grip tightening a bit on your shoulder in what you think is meant to be a comforting way, though Professor Sharp seems to be a bit out of practice when it comes to comforting gestures considering how firm his hold is.

Summary
"The holidays weren’t even something you were thinking about until Poppy offhandedly mentioned returning to her gran’s house for Christmas.
Then again, there wasn’t much you were thinking about as you tried to go through the motions while feeling as though there was a hole in your chest. A wound that was festering with guilt and grief in a way that you are sure only Sebastian could possibly begin to understand if he had the energy to try."
A one-shot about what Christmas alone at the castle would be like directly after the events of the game, with our favorite potions professor being the only one to notice the struggle of being the Hero of Hogwarts.

' "She thinks that the girl who was sent to Azkaban was actually innocent, and since I was already looking into the student and she wanted answers we went to Azka-” You know you are slightly rambling, but a sharp inhale of breath from Professor Sharp has you stopping mid-sentence. Professor Sharp’s eyes are almost comically wide with shock, though the harsh set of his jaw makes it impossible to so much as think of his expression as anything but serious.
“Are you telling me that a retired Auror took a student to Azkaban?" '
My take on the Hufflepuff exclusive quest with Professor Sharp there to help.

“I do believe that my office hours are displayed plainly in all the common rooms.”
“Professor Sharp please! I’m begging you to let me hide out in here, it's an emergency!”
This statement immediately had Aesop on edge, the years of being an Auror having ingrained into him the seriousness that emergencies often have. He stands with his wand drawn as he often had to do while working at the DMLE when receiving an urgent case or call to action, the movement almost instinctual at this point.

Or: five times there wasn't an emergency for Aesop to handle at Hogwarts, and the one time there was

Summary
When Garreth Weasley asked you to ‘borrow’ some billywig stings from Honeydukes for his latest concoction, you never really expected any real results to come from it, so when Garreth Weasley flagged you down in Central Hall after returning to Hogwarts after Christmas, you were surprised to have a bottle with a homemade label thrust into your hands.
-
“It's not that I’m doubting you Garreth, but…” You gently begin, unwilling to be the test subject for the boy that blew up a cauldron on the first day of class. To his credit, Garreth seems completely unphased by your hesitation.“Oh! Don’t worry! There isn’t anything that would be considered unsafe for consumption or too experimental in the drink. It’s practically a liquid equivalent of Fizzing Whizzbees, and I’m sure you’ve tried those before.” Garreth reassures you, still smiling even if you have trouble doing the same through the sudden nerves that have taken hold of you.
You don’t want to be rude, though, so after another reassuring nod from the boy you uncork the bottle and take a large swig. You do far more dangerous things most days anyway, what's the worst that can happen?

“I was an Auror for several years before taking my teaching position here. I know what someone who has been cursed looks like. If you don’t want to go to the Hospital Wing that's fine, but that means you need to let me help you instead.”
Of course you can't just be tortured on school grounds and go on unnoticed, especially by the former Auror turned potions professor.

“If Ranrok is already here-” You start, only to be cut off by Professor Sharp.
“You will stay out of his way. Focus on the repository and nothing else.” He harshly states, still running as you pass by what looks to be an artificial archway in the cave.
“We have already faced worse, Professor.” You remind him.
“Even so, focus on the task at hand.” Professor Sharp demands. The end is here. The Final Repository must be resealed, but it seems every enemy you have ever faced now wants to take you down before you can complete the task.

Summary
These Keepers are always so unnecessarily cryptic.
You must look as though you were about to push for more information, as Professor Fig pats you on the shoulder. You turn to look at the man, his eyes sympathetic as he gently shakes his head. You let out a small sigh before continuing.
“Just tell me where I need to go.”
Once again, you move to complete the trials the Keeper's have set for you.

Summary
“Then I shall leave matters in your increasingly capable hands. That said, be careful”. He adds, the last line spoken with a hint of concern.
“I will sir, I’ll see you back in the Map Chamber.” you reply, your answer seeming to be all he needed to hear.
If Professor Fig was hesitant to leave you in San Bakar’s tower, he definitely didn’t show it. As soon as you finished speaking, he apparated out of the building. You thought he would want to be present to at least see you access the reservoir of ancient magic, but clearly you had been mistaken.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE GAME ARE REFERENCED! I would recommend beating the game before reading.
After the dust has settled, it is up to the professors to determine your fate, but they are being a bit too overbearing with their methods. Hiding in the Map Chamber is far better than all this new attention.
