Summary
You can’t deny the creature is real anymore.
You try to run, but he grabs your arm and pulls you back toward him. You struggle uselessly against his firm grip. He’s at least two feet taller than you, with an arsenal of deadly weapons—claws that could shred your skin, hooves that could trample you, teeth that could rip your throat open.
You stop struggling, your words tumbling out, high-pitched and frantic. “Please don’t kill me.”
He lets go of you but stays close. “I can’t kill the one I’m bound to.”
----
You accidentally release a trapped demon, and now he's bound to serve you. Neither of you are happy about it.

Summary
Despite how he knows it's a dream, Josh can't help but remember just how...vivid, it felt. As though it was a memory. Maybe it's a result of that procedure, and the general confusion he's had acclimating to the changes. But he's fairly sure that dreams shouldn't feel like that. Not that he has any intention of talking about the dream with anyone. Reapers, extinction, death. All of that sounds utterly unrealistic, complete fiction, ridiculous, the more he thinks about it. That turian in the dream felt almost achingly familiar. But he knows he's got a soul mark, not one of those 'dream about your soulmate' sort of deals. Besides, it's been way too many years. How could his mark still hold true?

Summary
One minute, you're doing your nth run of the Mass Effect trilogy in your pajamas, the next ... You're waking up in that same universe, which wasn't on your bucket list.
What was fiction five minutes ago is now terrifyingly real. You’re expected to function as Earthborn Commander Shepard, morally gray and questionable coping skills.
Your only consistent backup? A chow-chow-shaped mech dog named Sebastian who silently judges your every questionable life choice.
Knowing what’s coming doesn’t make it easier. The choices still hurt. People still die. And the weight of saving the galaxy hits different when you’re the one holding the gun.
You’re holding it together with duct tape, caffeine, and pure spite.

Settling into civilian life is finally feeling like normalcy, and their recently adopted daughter adds even more to their seemingly, now normal, lives.
