Shuten knew that Ibaraki was prone to admiring other people’s beauty when the situation called. Sure, it was fine, nothing wrong with that. Shuten Doji himself didn’t shy away from looking at other people, and he did have a past of going after Momiji. Besides, it wasn’t as if they had something going, exactly.
That didn’t explain why Ibaraki Doji would always act reassuringly at him anytime he expressed interest towards anyone else, and why it always made his heart skip a beat. -

Sanji wasn’t happy to travel through one of the mountain passes, even if it was a somewhat clear pass to go through. Someone had to deliver a meal, though, and that pass was the fastest way to do it. He only had the night to go, and he heard so much about the dangers of that specific mountain pass.
Still, he was brave and knew how to take care of himself. No legend of yokai would make him stop from delivering food to those who needed, even if they lived in the middle of the woods where no one could get a car to go! -
