The first victim’s file was thrown upon his desk four months ago, and he got his first nightmare that very same night. If he had any ounce of sanity left, then his nightmares would simply be a mental image of all these victims, his guilt taking place so far in his mind that even in sleep, he can’t escape it. It must be.
