The lights flickered once, long enough for Alex to see Jack's face close to his, eyes sparking in the red glow, before plunging back into black.
He could hear Jack's breathing, feel the heat of it against his cheek. The closeness sent a slow, steady pulse through Alex's body. Jack’s weight eased against him, and their lips brushed once, twice. Until Alex couldn't stand it any longer, and he pressed his mouth onto Jack's, sure and deliberate. Jack made a quiet sound, part sigh, part groan, and Alex felt it vibrate through both of them. His stomach flipped; every nerve seemed to spark awake.

After a disastrous on-location task, Jack storms off into the darkness of the Ghost Train. Alex follows.

Summary
Outside, waves crash against the shore with hypnotic regularity. The cottage settles around them with small sighs and creaks, and Greg closes his eyes, willing himself toward sleep and away from the dangerous territory his thoughts keep wandering into.
Tomorrow they'll fall back into familiar patterns, he tells himself. Tomorrow the spell will break, and they'll be just Greg and Alex again, two friends on a perfectly ordinary holiday.
But as he finally drifts toward sleep, the sound of the sea a constant murmur beyond the windows, Greg finds himself hoping that tomorrow might be just a little bit longer in coming.- Greg and Alex go on Holiday to a seaside cottage, where their feelings crash louder than the waves.
