    Summary

Betty had only been in Ooo for a few months after washing up on a beach with nothing but the clothes on her back and no memory of how she'd ended up a thousand years into the future, when Princess Bubblegum, her friend and benefactor, was kidnapped by the Ice King. Betty goes to save her, but ends up becoming the Ice King's captive in Bubblegum's stead. But the more time she spends with the Ice King, the more she becomes convinced that there's more to this loony old man than meets the eye. (aka a Betty and Simon Beauty and the Beast!AU)

    Summary

Regina finds out that Rumplestiltskin plans to keep his memories and alters the curse so the memory-keeping is held by Belle instead, since she's Regina's prisoner. Bookmarker's Notes

First of all, DAMN good characterization across the board here. I appreciate the accuracy of maniacal, magic Rumple especially--this author commits to his weird ass energy and it WORKS. A tricky balance to be sure!

Also, I always appreciate a story that keeps me guessing. I never knew where the plot was going to go next and that made for a very fun read. Good stuff, well written, highly reccomend.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Delicious. FINALLY some good fucking Belle characterization.

Really phenomenally written in general tbh. These two are a tricky pairing, lots of potential but easily frustrating--this author takes the potential and runs with it like the goddamn Flash and I am still standing here in the dust, awed. The tension is tragic instead of annoying, and though the end is grim it has a tiny, sincere seed of hope.
