Summary
Diluc realizes why Kaeya chose to tell him the truth. He's trying to severe his last remaining tie to Mondstadt. Once Kaeya cuts off all ties, he'll leave.
Several emotions run through Diluc: anger, loss, despair, fear. Kaeya is the only family he has left. More than he hates Kaeya for lying, for choosing NOW to the truth, he fears losing him. So Diluc both punishes and ties Kaeya forever to him. He pushes Kaeya down and bites Kaeya's neck. If they become bonded mates, Kaeya can never leave him.
_______________In which Diluc forges a mating bond with Kaeya and then runs off, chasing after his father's murderers. He comes back 3 years later and suffers the consequences of leaving his mate unattended.
The bond works both ways. Now that Kaeya is within arm's reach, his body is telling him to claim his mate and breed him. As for Kaeya, the bond constantly forces him to into heat around Diluc, wanting to be bred by him.
Diluc initially forges the bond so Kaeya will stay loyal to Mondstadt. He never intends to sleep with Kaeya... But the mating bond he forced on them has other ideas.

“Than,” Zagreus cradled Thanatos’ face between his hands. “I would never regret marrying you.” He gently knocked their foreheads together, their faces brought so close, their breaths mingled. “You once said I was like the sun to you, bright and radiant. But Than, it’s the same for me. You are my star and my light. You’ve been my dream for the last few decades. Because it’s you, I’ll never regret it.”
When their lips next touched, Thanatos felt Zagreus’ words on his lips, tasted the truth of them on his tongue.
“Please say yes.”

Summary
After years living abroad, Zagreus finally decided to come home (not by choice). It was either go to jail or come home and work for his father's company and learn the ropes of being his heir. Zagreus expected to hate every minute of working for Hades- and was ready to wreak some havoc- but to his surprise (or not), Hades shoved the responsibility of teaching him onto someone else: Thanatos.
His impression of Thanatos was that he was ruthless and aloof, a man just like his father... but he didn't count on Thanatos' unexpected charm...or blazing sensuality that soon flared beyond both their control. Zagreus soon discovered Thanatos might just run hot beneath that cold veneer.
