Summary
After losing Mayday and killing Lieutenant Nolan, Crosshair becomes a prisoner in Doctor Hemlock’s facility on Mount Tantiss. However, he’s not alone. In the cell across the corridor, there’s a boy who is the key to reuniting Crosshair with his brothers. There’s a boy whose eyes shine with defiance, and whose sweet floral scent fills Crosshair’s senses and provides the only comfort in this cold, unwelcoming prison.
