Summary
Cliff Marlow learned two things when the video of Rozanov and Hollander kissing got leaked; one was that Roz was not straight, and the second was that his boy had pulled NHL's number one player, and Canada's golden boy, Shane fucking Hollander!
However, the statement Rozanov and Hollander release a few days later has Cliff questioning his old friend and wingman. Notably the part about them being in a long term committed relationship.
Because last All Stars game, when Cliff had knocked on Roz's hotel room door to try to get him to go out like old times, Roz wouldn't even open the door when he declined since he had a woman in his room. Cliff had even heard her moan.
Roz had cheated on Hollander.
This realization was stressing him out. And try as he might, it's not something he can ignore when the next All Stars game comes around. Not when Roz is kissing his husband like he's not a lying cheater.

Shane’s eyes snap open. Wait a second.
“Ilya,” Shane says, propping himself up on his elbows. “Ilya, wake up.”
Ilya makes a pained noise, eyes still shut. “I shut curtains already.”
“It’s not that. Ilya, hey. Don’t go back to sleep.” Ilya tries to bury back into Shane’s chest, but adrenaline knifes through Shane’s hangover long enough for him to peel Ilya off and roll him into his back. Ilya blinks blearily up at him, starfished in the sheets. Beautiful and naked and missing his mother’s cross.
OR: When Ilya’s cross goes missing after the Centaurs celebrate their first Stanley Cup win, Shane is determined to get it back. And so are the Centaurs. And the rest of Ottawa.

“That’s not-” Shane starts, but he stops himself. Ilya tilts his head slightly in question, but Shane bites the inside of his cheek and then shakes his head slightly, cheeks flushing. “I do trust you,” Shane says.
“But not with your car?” Ilya asks. “You are afraid I will drive all the boring out of it?”
Shane rolls his eyes.
“It’s a good car-” He starts in another refrain of one of his favorite summer songs.
Ilya rolls them and pins his boyfriend under him before he has to hear about four wheel drive and gas mileage again.
There are far better uses for Shane’s mouth, after all.
