Summary
Feng Xin’s first memory is of when he was four.
It’s of his birthday party - the one he shared with his twin sister, older by virtue of the six-minutes she’s born prior. Still, despite her entering the world first, it’s his name that’s iced on the very top of the cake and hers on the line below it; ‘Xin-Er and Jiaqi,’ the son, the daughter, the celebrated, and the second.
“Xin-Er, blow out your candles! Make a wish!” His mother urges, as the camera’s flash comes bursting to life. Young as he is, he doesn’t think about his sibling next to him; wobbly-lipped and glassy-eyed, curled in on herself like a broken-backed toad. All he knows how to be is a good son, a happy boy, and so he does as he’s told.
If only he’d known what a mistake that would turn out to be.

Mu Qing’s Dating Guide for Idiots:
1. Breathe. Inhale, exhale. If you pass out, I will never let you will never live it down.
2. White daisies, not roses.
3. Cozy restaurants, nothing too loud.
4. Jasmine tea, like the kind at home. Remember to sip, don’t be that moron who burns their fucking mouth.
5. Talk about your students. You relax when you talk about those little brats. It’s cute.
6. Ask about their art. Obviously.
7. Gummy worms for when you inevitably blow it.
8. Oh and the word is “hello”, dumbass.OR: Long time yearning victim, Feng Xin, takes up Mu Qing's offer to help him date. It goes about as poorly as Mu Qing believed it would.

The corners of Mu Qing’s lips twitched as he met Feng Xin’s gaze. “Of course. A-Xin!” Feng Xin’s heart fluttered helplessly before realizing Mu Qing called out to the cat. A-Xin climbed into Mu Qing’s lap and mewed as Mu Qing lifted him to his chest. “A-Xin, meet Daddy Ju Yang.”
“Mu Qing!!”
OR: Feng Xin is maddeningly in love with his roommate, Mu Qing. Mu Qing adopts a kitten and names him Feng Xin. It goes about as idiotically as you can imagine.

Summary
Zhanmadao bound his way up the steps, and Fengshen followed after him. The other man made no move to pull out an umbrella, and before Fengshen’s brain could catch up with his mouth, he shouted, “I thought cats didn’t like to get wet!”
The black-clad hero stopped at the top of the stairwell, standing in the pouring rain. He looked back down toward Fengshen. The image — lightning flashed overhead encapsulating the hero in a halo — was absolutely breathtaking. Fengshen’s mouth went dry. Zhanmadao didn’t respond. He just grinned, a wild-looking grin, wide enough Fengshen could make out his sharpened canines, before he flipped him off.
Then he was gone like a cat in the night.

Feng Xin is the superhero Fengshen. Feng Xin has a boyfriend, Mu Qing. Mu Qing's favorite hero is Fengshen. Mu Qing does not know that Feng Xin is Fengshen. And that's not even bringing Zhanmadao, the sexy new hero obsessed with messing with Fengshen, into the mix...
