Tohru Adachi didn't intend to become emotionally invested in his enemy; the new girl in town, and obnoxiously his boss's niece of all people. But she was different, interesting among a sea of boredom. And she reached out to him. How stupid for her, but how lovely for him. She was worlds away from the tedium he'd grown accustomed to from this town, on a different level entirely. Finding out that SHE was in fact his enemy was just icing on the cake. How absolutely hilarious! It didn't matter. He'd have her either way.
After all, she didn't have a choice.

His dear professor is unsure of how to handle him in this tentatively stable state, but is doing what she can, and Sylvain tries his best to solve the terrible disconnect these two idiots desperately in love have.
