Summary
The final fight for Jack and the vault hunters had not ended the way he had planned. Not in the slightest. Luckily for him, his company was in charge of one of the greatest innovations of the past millennia; the “New-U” station. Jack revives but he figures, his enemies didn’t have to know that… Time goes by and Jack is running the company under the guise of a boring seemingly nameless man, and it works to keep his secret safe. Jack has not a care or rather concern in the world, until a few of his underlings go AWOL with 10 million dollars for a... vault? Revenge? Obsession? Chicks? All that Jack is now worried about is if this mission is going to compromise his position at the top.

This work hits all the notes that I love in a Gaalee fic; serious, awkward, fluffy (with smut to a accompany it). It really nails down the points that make this pairing my favorite the fact that they need to do work to understand each other and how they feel and how that affects their surroundings. Plus the Rock lee POV is nice and the side stories/perspective shifts are so refreshing. If i could give this a rating on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 10 and not just because I like it, but because the author put in the work and made me feel some shit.

Summary
Forgiveness is a concept Gaara has never applied to himself. He works tirelessly for the betterment of Suna and her people, never expecting anything, let alone something as sacred and precious as forgiveness. Who could absolve him of his past when all those he'd encountered as Suna's monster are dead? He locks away the guilt and works diligently, keeping the village safe. Until, one day, the long avoided plague of sleep overcomes him, and he cannot fight the nightmares or the fresh guilt they bring.
On the heels of this troubling sleep issue, Temari's first child arrives, and with her arrival the need for a nanny.
But it's not as simple as just any nanny arriving on their doorstep. It's none other than Rock Lee, who brings with him the living reminder of Gaara's past and the pain he'd wrought.

This is an amazing piece, very well written. It has such good story telling and its a great example of a third person POV that doesnt hug too tightly to the mc that you can't imagine the story outside of them/what they see and close enough that only the things relevant to the story are there. So so good and the narrative progression along with the charactizations are so on point for a modern AU imho.
Gaara is a little Ooc but the only times in the show where he really shares his inner thoughts are times where hes having a mental breakdown (while being a baddie) so that's something I can dismiss in favor of humanizing and more dynamic characterization.Very good would recommend to anyone who's looking for something more narrative driven in the gaalee/leegaa fanbase because I still can't believe that this in only four chapters and gosh do I want more ♡

Summary
It wasn't easy climbing the corporate ladder at Hyperion. For alphas, it was all corporate murder and intimidation. Betas tended a more subtle route of sabotage and blackmail. And for omegas, the quickest way to climb the ranks was on your back. Rhys is very good at getting what he wants, eventually drawing the attention of Handsome Jack himself.
Prompt on tumblr: "Jack gets into a fight with another alpha over Rhys? Either someone else coming on to his PA, insulting him, or trying to hurt him?" My 100th fic as part of my May Challenge :)

Summary
The story begins right after Rhys demotion, the difference being that Jack is not dead - he's still the successful CEO of Hyperion. Rhys has a dark secret to hide and it's not easy when you become the focus of Handsome Jack's attention. The CEO forms a weird friendship with the first person he feels like he can get close to - only because he seems absolutely harmless to the man. The story portrays their changing relationship which goes from a possessive codependency to something entirely different. A lot of humor but also angst as the story progresses. Be prepared for actual plot.

it may sound like an exaggeration but. I think this maybe my favorite fanfiction.
Ever.
The progression is perfect, and I couldn't ask for a more perfect word count per chapter. Also the chapters aren't outrageously long or short and the author of this piece knows just how to end an update!
Oh yes some more equally badass stuff is that it has HELLA smut, a lot of domestic fluff, and just enough angst, awkward, and adorableness so that the characters don't seem out of character (its an AU so some liberties must be taken but all of the ones taken here are modest and perfect for the plot and some of them could be considered more over a head cannon rather than out-of-character-ness)
