Summary
Henrietta Hemlocke has earned her reputation in hell. Having been in power for over a century now, she's known amongst the populace of the Pentagram for her ruthless, unreasonable hatred of men. Behind the walls of her massive estate, she shows a much different face- affectionate, maternal, lonely.
Loneliness was something Sir Pentious was well acquainted with. He's spent much of his long afterlife alone with naught but his egg bois to keep him company. Everyone who he's ever felt affection for left eventually, and none were ever his to begin with. Treated with derision and cruelty by all of hell, he thought he'd face the same when he crashed through the carriage of the strikingly beautiful overlord. The last thing he expected was kindness from a woman notorious for being cruel.

Summary
It had been the better part of a century since Henrietta arrived in hell, and the monotony of life as an overlord had been disturbed by a sudden influx of new souls. Weighed down by the weight of it all, she finds herself struck smitten by the sudden appearance of a particular scheming serpent. Neither of them were aware this would be the start of nearly 80 years of pining.

Summary
High-rise buildings framed the horrific sight of angelic figures as they dove from the sky and hunted indiscriminately in what could only be described as a one-sided Armageddon.
A demon tinkered away and madly proclaimed, "I would rather pour salt in my tea and stab out my eye then be without my signature look!"
And somewhere in the rookery, a gentleman neatly folded his sit-upons whilst a woman danced ballet. Only an hour prior, he had shared adventures with a mollycot, desperate for warmth, accosted by society for his sin of existing.
Sir Pentious—Alexander—was a gifted liar, and by gifted, he had a mind more brilliant than most. But he was a terrible, horrible liar. And by terrible, horrible liar, he could play the part that was expected of him most, which made it easier to lie whenever the situation was right. But what was right and what was wrong were a topic for the ages, and he was no philosopher, only desperate for attention, for approval, and for love. A surreptitious man who would look the other way, a coward, a volatile concoction of emotion, who would turn back the clock if only Heaven didn't mark the inexorable passage of time.

Summary
Sir Pentious is having trouble adjusting to the hotel, easily triggered by memories he’d rather not have, of an asylum commitment that ended in his death.
Knowing what the stigma of insanity does, he’s trying his best to forget everything from his past, and hoping that nobody ever finds out.
Of course, that doesn’t help with the actual trauma.or:
I traumatized Sir Pentious by applying the logic of his own time period.
