When a young hero of an unknown realm dies, it is believed that is the ending for the undeniable human soul. Only for the soul's light to shine once again in a completely different realm to them.
A realm that they do not belong in. A realm that they have no other choice but to accept.
This is the story of a retired hero growing up in a new life, in a small town out in the Shaftlands named Harveston. And the bonds that develop in this new life.
.......Then again, a hero never truly retires, do they? You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain? So, what does that make our protagonist?
