Avery completely distraught after the turn of events of what went down recently involving the King in Yellow along with Derek's goodbye letter adding more salt to the wound with having no idea where to go anymore as yet another dear person to him was stripped away. Despite his grievances, he wants to believe Derek is still somewhere out there under the same stars as him.
(The author is creating a universe of where Derek is infact alive and undooming the yaoi)

Dandy had changed into his Twisted form too many times, and now he’s stuck. Meaning that Astro is now in charge- something he’d rather lick a cheese grater than do, but the toons need him.
Even though the ichor operation is done, there’s still some Twisteds- violent, bloodthirsty ones- who need to be fixed. With Dandy being right at the front of them.
Now, Astro must balance his new role as a leader, trying to restore toons twisted beyond repair, and trying to fix Dandy- even if other toons don’t really want him back.
