Summary
The clapping filled the Great Hall, but Harry couldn't muster even an ounce of positive feelings about the change. He was disappointed. He had had so many questions for Professor Riddle, most of them something he knew he couldn't ask from anyone else. He knew his interest in Defence wasn't completely legal, and after a summer in the Grimmauld Place, where he had read a lot of books about the Dark Arts, he wanted to know more. He hadn't dared to take any books with him, fearing that someone would check their trunks before delivering them to the dorms. He had hoped Professor Riddle would have something for him.
And maybe, somewhere deep, he had hoped that Professor Riddle would see him properly now that he was seventeen…

Professor Riddle is Harry's favourite professor at Hogwarts. Harry goes above and beyond to be his very best student. It's a huge blow when Harry comes back for his seventh year and discovers that Professor Riddle has taken a sabbatical to do research in Albania. Even worse than that, his replacement is that pretty-boy hack Gilderoy Lockhart!

He had been bred and raised for slaughter, a child moulded and manipulated to fill the shell cast in a self-fulfilling prophecy. His mind brought him back to his first encounter with the magical world. He was taken to Diagon Alley by Hagrid, one of Dumbledore’s chosen loyalists. The half-giant had taken him to Gringotts to run an errand for the headmaster. He practically forced the stone down Harry’s throat and held it there with the amount of hints and information that he had given with very little resistance.
It was all a lie.

Summary
Harry found himself in the headmaster's office again. Dumbledore was staring towards the door so Harry turned around as well.
Tom Riddle strode through the door and stopped in front of Dumbledore's desk. His eyes were still red but where there was a snake-faced moster with slits for a nose before there stood a man in his mid-twenties now.
Riddle spoke: "Dumbledore, so nice of you to meet with me. I have a proposition for you."
Dumbledore considered the man carefully before asking: "What proposition could you have that made you sure enough I would agree to it?"
Riddle smirked. "I've come to offer peace."Updates can come inconsistently.
