He was busy greeting everyone, more than one person wishing him a happy birthday, meaning that the party was for him. She noticed how open he looked, his easy manners making others flutter around him as if moths to the light. His hair, a soft brown color, was adorned with curls, a stray one falling on his eyes, which he tried to fix unsuccessfully.
As he neared their spot, his gaze fell on her, a pleased smirk appearing instantly on his face. It made her usually pale, seemingly dead-looking countenance blush a soft pink. Fuck.

In a vaguely familiar room, scented with sandalwood and fresh pine, wrapped up in clean linen sheets that definitely were not her own. A sunken mattress, softer than she was used to. The distant ticking of an alarm clock that definitely did not belong to her. And there was an arm draped across her waist, firm and defined, and unfortunately - she knew just who it belonged to. For a moment, he blinked at her. Unsure. And then, a slow, dripping, melting smirk made its way across his face, and she grew nauseous once more. When he spoke, there was a teasing edge to his voice, as if he didn’t quite believe her. “Sure, homework.”
Wednesday raised an eyebrow, unamused.
“Come over at eight.”
“Fine.”
His voice was breathier this time. “Fine.”

Tyler has been trying to corner Wednesday in the hallways at Nevermore for weeks, using any excuse to spend time with her. When she agrees to come over to help him with his homework, it isn't until she is getting ready and a ridiculous shaving, moisturising ritual - that she suddenly realises she may have what people call a "dick appoinment".
