Little did he know this little encounter would spiral into a (not his) wedding.

Ever since the June Bride event in The Battle Cats I wanted to write a ship fic between Chronos and Balaluga (Chronoluga? That actually sound like a good ship name) and somehow this ended up in a crossover with Cookie Run with a (big) sprinkle of Espresseleine. Despite being crack treated seriously I think this is pretty cute though heh.

Though the sentence makes it sound easy.
And that is far from the truth when Espresso spends hours on end just trying to get the perfect strokes, to perfectly capture Madeleine's beauty.
If only the knight knew how much care and love was put into that painting of him.

Summary
All two lovesick idiots want to do is dig themselves a hole and hide forever.
One, a stressed Stoneheart, just realized he might be more fucked than he thought after coming to realize he might have caught feelings for his coworker, but doesn't think it's reciprocated. I mean, they bicker all the time! Not to mention that tomorrow...is the anniversary of the day he started working in hell. He wants to crawl into a hole and die.
The other, a hurt harbinger, had just been sent to hell and back after a gigantic fight with some narwhal demon. First thing he is told when he wakes up? He's being shipped all the way back to Liyue to recover at a desk job in the bank. Just great, the ONE place he would rather never be after being betrayed by....by a close "friend" that he may or may not have feelings for. He also wants to crawl into a hole and die.
After an incredibly eventful week, they fall into a deep slumber, only to wake up in another universe, i someone else's body???
The only thing keeping them sane is seeing there counter part in a dream every night.
