Summary

He smelt like most men— Irish spring, sandalwood, musk, bergamot, etc. In daylight hours, you wouldn’t have thought anything about his tight and fawning smile, the gallon of industrial cleaning solution, and the seven yards of vinyl tarp he slides across the counter at the end of the month.
