Summary
Jung Wooyoung holds a mission close to his heart (his real heart.) It was a mission that was never meant for him in the first place, but uncontrollable circumstances (like everyone else being killed) had resulted in him being the only one who could do it in the end.
His mission: go back in time, find and put together the greatest team of superpowered individuals from the future, and prevent the end of the world before it ever happens by stopping the appearance of rifts and the deadly monsters they carry within.
Except these supposedly great individuals are nothing more than newborn fawns just coming to grips with their new powers and hold no memory of him or the danger looming just beyond their comprehension.
And Wooyoung, of all people, is supposed to be the one to guide them? (When he had been the one to only ever look up to them.)
And how could they ever come to trust him, like how he had once trusted them with his life (and his death) in the future? (Did he even want them to?)
Just never forget: monsters are always closer than they seem.

There’s one more, but he’s not present today because he has another commitment.”
A polycule, not with three but four people. Establishing a pack used to be the norm once upon a time but it was an archaic practice these days, one that didn’t bode very well in the modern time that valued individuality and independence. Now, Beomgyu had no prejudice against pack dynamics or polyamory (although he’d always considered himself monogamous if he were to be in a relationship), but four was quite a number to maintain. There must be at least one omega in the pack for balance and harmony, why would they even need a surrogate?
