Turns out killing Adam had some serious consequences ... who knew?
Well Vox did and that's why he ended up getting sent back in time to stop the First Man from biting the dust before everyone returns to it. And if his sudden change in behavior makes more then a few people raise an eyebrow and question things then fuck them. Vox already lost everyone once, gained some much needed (and bitter) insight because of it and decided that no fucking way he's about to live through that a second time.
If that means being a bigger dick then 'original dick' then Vox will do it and just pray that he doesn't end up shooting Adam himself before everything is said and done.

Summary
Tensions rise in Hawkins as the small Indiana town has been put under quarantine. The weather seems to only get colder as the town dives into hysteria and the military overtakes the police force. After the main party has a falling out, rising satanic panic, homophobia, racism, and sexism make it harder for characters like Mike and Will to find themselves as they not only navigate high-school but prepare themselves to fight off the end of the world. Hopper and Nancy begin to lead crawls as the squawk becomes the party's new head quarters. El also discovers that she can do more than she thought she was capable of but struggles to find her true identity. Many in Hawkins begin to rely on the church for guidance as their world only becomes stranger and stranger.
