Summary
Her mother named her Naehaerys, and said she was the daughter of a Prince.
Everyone else called her Nettles, and said she was the daughter of a whore.
Ever since she was born, Nettles struggled to know who she was. Every night she had dreams of another world, a better one than the one she lived in. One filled with fantastical creations, with warmth and food aplenty... yet every morning, she woke to try and scrape together another day of survival on Driftmark. With each year that passed, she remembered more, until one day it all came crashing down upon her.
The Dance of the Dragons approached, and she refused to die alone in some forsaken mountain in the Vale. It was a fine vow for a girl to make, the trouble was she had no idea how to change her fate... and she would soon learn some things are better left in destiny's hands.

Summary
She keeps on laughing, her hair swinging back and forth and tickling his face. Something deep in his bones tugs at him then, swelling his heart with a surge of happy emotions. It’s just the two of them in the wind, carefree, and Lucas realizes the emotion that’s pressing outwards against his skin, threatening to burst through in a spectrum of light, is probably love.
