Summary
Getting out of Kongokaku alive took everything they had. Hunters, refugees, survivors; and there was that little matter of torches back in Kongokaku.... Now what?
(Inspired in part by wondering if Biba wasn't lying, and there is a medicine for Kabaneri....)

Summary
He had been careless. Appallingly careless. His blade was no stranger to the Kabane. Each time one lunged toward him with gnashing teeth, Kurusu cut it down like bamboo. One by one, they fell. Red decorated the passenger car like paint, dripping down metal walls. Protect the people, his mind screamed, protect Ayame— [Imported from FFNet]

Summary
"It feels like falling asleep, his body heavy and softened and weighed down by his own life, his own choices. He's heard that dying's supposed to be relaxing, seeing your life flash before your eyes and making peace with it or whatever. Well, Wolfwood just got the highlights reel- his verdict is that he fucked up bad and he should've had more gay sex."
Wolfwood gets a second chance and doesn't waste it.

Summary
The orphanage looms at his back. It looks empty—abandoned. He wonders idly how long he's been out of commission for. The longest, before this, was four months—but that had been under the watchful Eye of Michael, not left to rot in a pit of his own making.
I should be dead, he thinks. Maybe I was dead.
There's a stillness in the air that feels unfamiliar, unnerving. Not like high noon before a gunfight but rather, the tense silence that comes after one, in the dusk.
Something happened.

Summary
Napoleon Solo is in love with Illya Kuryakin. He knows it. Gaby knows it. Illya presumably does not know it, otherwise Napoleon would be dead. It's not just Illya's rejection Napoleon fears. The CIA and KGB would never brook their top agents canoodling with each other. And who the hell knows what Waverly will think.
No, it's better for all concerned that he keeps his mouth firmly shut.
Then a mission unexpectedly unravels, things spiral out of Napoleon's control, and all his best resolutions turn to dust.

Summary
“You have never had a fight in your life, I’d wager,” Hamlet teased, circling him on light feet. He kicked out his front foot, sinking into a deep lunge and following with the rapier.
Horatio deflected the blade and turned to the side, striking with a quarter lunge, following quickly by an advance and a full attack. “Respects, my good lord, but you have known me only in a scholar’s robes.”
“I have known you out of them, as well,” Hamlet replied. “Known you well.”
