Summary
After the mountain, Jaskier decides to grant Geralt his “life blessing” and dies. Well, he doesn’t die per say, he masterfully fakes his death. The second purpose is, of course, to escape the track from Nilfgaard that wants to know where Geralt and Ciri are. But as months flows by, a new force arises from the North. The witchers create a new empire on the Continent behind the banner of the White Wolf.
All is, kind of, good until someone recognize him as being Jaskier, the White Wolf’s bard from before the warlord rises and decides to bait Geralt into a peace treaty using him. The bard is absolutely sure it is not going to work because Geralt doesn’t care, the mind behind the plot is sure it is going to work and it does work. It works really - really - well.
