Summary

But the Emperor would never allow her to marry at her own discretion so she knows that what she's found with Baron Rozan Clearland can't last. It's dangerous to fall in love with him but she can't stop herself.
Just like her brother, she has no defense against kindness even if it makes it harder to do her duty.

The first story is the origin story for my characters which has been an exploration of pretty much every mercyfic trope I can squeeze in there.
It features a Prince who give himself up in surrender to the Emperor of a warring country to save his people and the brother of that Emperor who he is married to as part of the surrender.
Anything after that is little stories showing snippets of their life together.

Summary
