Summary
Being 16 years old and in the military is uncommon, but not for you. Being a genius strategist and brilliant scientist helped you, as being one of the few born on Pandora to two scientists. Ever since you were born, your mother and father pushed onto you the English, Spanish and Na'vi tongue. You learned to be fast, stealthy, and strong. When you were 10, your father and mother pushed you to choose your future position, and you chose to be an Avatar Driver. And then from there, they began gestating your avatar, taking DNA samples from you, growing the avatar to be 16 years of age, or 6 chronologically.
You harshly trained to drive an Avatar, soon doing the trials and passing easily. While growing up, you heard tales about Jake Sully, a human-turned-Na'vi, who 'betrayed' the human race.
You were always fascinated by the Na'vi and their connection to Eywa, never holding a grudge against the natives. And everything changed when you met her, albeit her brothers tried to kill you first.

At least, Alicent likes to think they were friends. But the princess was always sporadic with her attentions— quick to grow bored of things, discarding the old in favor of the new. Alicent supposes that’s what happened to her, as well. She had written letters, those first few moons after she returned to Oldtown.
