Summary
After the utter failure of their previous attempt at sexual intimacy, Alastor and Lucifer must navigate the growing tension between them.
Upon reflection, Alastor realized there was something enthralling and highly addictive about having power over Lucifer in an intimate way—he had been enraptured by the obscene sounds he managed to pull out of the fallen angel during their previous encounter. After considering Rosie’s suggestion to ‘try again’, Alastor approached Lucifer with a proposal: he would help Lucifer out with his growing sexual tension, but would only touch him with his shadow manifestations.
Lucifer, who was extremely worked up from long days of titillation, had quickly agreed.
And thus the push and pull of opposite forces began.

Summary
Monthly movie night is another bonding exercise that Charlie has come up with to torture the hotel residents, Lucifer and Alastor included. Though Lucifer is sure it’s not her intention to make them suffer, the unfortunate truth is that he dislikes TV as much as the Radio Demon, and the whole endeavor sounds exhausting. But he will participate to support his daughter’s efforts!
It’s also just Lucifer’s luck that he arrives late and the only available seat is next to Alastor. To make matters worse, the movie is a romantic comedy that brings all sorts of things to the surface for Lucifer.
What will happen in the dark of the lounge-turned-theater? Will Lucifer find the comfort he seeks? Or will his efforts to seek it out fall flat?

Summary
Charlie’s newest bonding exercise is proving to be quite the mixed bag. On the one hand, having the hotel inhabitants pair up once a week to cook a meal for everyone is a lovely concept. On the other hand, the results have been disappointingly inconsistent.
Who does Charlie have paired up to cook next week’s meal? Alastor and Lucifer, of course!

Summary
Alastor’s eyes glaze across the page of the book he’s holding. It’s challenging to focus on the words with white hot needles intermittently shooting down his limbs. Logically, Alastor understands his angelic wound won’t heal on its own. Emotionally, he refuses to acknowledge that this is something he cannot fix himself.
He’d nearly passed out when Charlie hugged him in the parlor earlier. He doesn’t blame the girl. It’s in her nature to show affection physically, just like her father (as he’d observed after meeting Lucifer).
Lucifer. Even thinking his name makes his skin prickle and his blood begin to stir under his skin.

Summary
Lucifer sits at the bar, watching Alastor from across the room. Charlie has him engaged in yet another conversation about her newest redemption activity for the residents of the hotel. Well… it’s more of a one-sided conversation as Charlie is excitedly monologuing at Alastor while he politely ‘listens’ (if you can call staring at someone with a placid ‘smile’ on your face ‘listening’). Alastor spots him watching them and grabs Charlie’s hands in his, sneering past her at Lucifer. Lucifer grips the wine glass in his hand so hard the stem breaks in half.

“Are you sure?” Law asks, taken aback a bit at the ease at which Luffy has made up his mind. Luffy smiles at him, sunshine catching in the crinkles of his eyes and bursting through the cracks between his teeth.
“Yeah,” he says, “Torao likes it and I like Torao.” And only Luffy can make it so simple, like his statement doesn’t threaten to unravel Law at the seams.
