Summary
After sealing the other end of the gate to trap the Darknesses, Caelum dies from his wounds. But instead of reincarnating to join with a new heart, he finds himself in a mysterious void, where a figure wreathed in shadows makes him realize the full consequences of his choice to sacrifice himself. Sometimes you have to hurt the people you care about to save them, but what happens if you hurt them too much? Caelum realizes too late just how badly his plan hurt Ephemer and Skuld. But maybe there's still a way for him to make things right.
