Summary
They had been cuddled up in bed, giggling between whispered confessions and childhood stories. One of the best parts of being queer, in Charlie's opinion, is comparing shared experiences with other queer people, and that night had been full of them. They talked about media and how Nick's favorite superheroes just happened to be the ones in the most scandalous costumes. How maybe, just maybe, Nick had ulterior motives when asking to watch MMA fights with his brother.
Then Charlie had brought up the YouTubers he used to obsess over and how slowly but surely every one of them had come out as gay.
"Oh my God, do you remember the Chapstick Challenge?" he had asked, dissolving into giggles. "I used to literally look up 'Chapstick Challenge gay.'"
Nick had snorted. "I do remember that." Then, after a beat, he'd added, "It actually sounds kinda fun."or, Nick surprises Charlie with a variety pack of flavored chapsticks, things quickly get heated.
