She was very lonely, and being taken in by Tony Stark of all people for being an apparently missing half-sister was not her ideal image of what her family might look like. She'd dreamed of this moment, of someone related to her finding her, wanting her and taking her out of the system, but she couldn't help but feel incredibly nervous about all of this. growing up around them was a bit intimidating, including all the money that Tony seemed to like showering her with gifts with. but she liked her new family, and they grew close over the years.
Going to the Academy was hard, not living with Tony anymore and not seeing Rhodey, Happy, or Pepper frequently made it even harder to leave, but she wanted to be an agent. She wanted to put her brains and her skills for fighting to good use in any way she could. Finding love was just an odd side effect of that.

Seven long years had passed since the Tenrou team had been frozen in time, returning triumphantly one sudden day. They returned to lands ravaged by war, Magnolia miraculously untouched, and one vital member of their team gone. Lucy, who should have been on Tenrou at the time of the blast had managed to escape it thanks to Horologium, The only questions now were where she was and how the last seven years had treated her. The answers they received, however, shattered those ideals.
“A year ago, Lucy died. She was drafted into the war that started shortly after you all vanished. We know she fell in battle against Acnologia, but nothing more. It… was too painful to pry into every detail. All that mattered was she was gone."

Summary
as future Lucy is dying, she begins to recall how her life with Natsu has gone. All she had learned about how he cared for people, how she learned he loved to hold her hand, and how she learned herself that she loved to cook for her lovely boyfriend.
she recalls the touches they shared, the way their hands were always clasped together, the way he was always smiling at her.
Though now, she could only see his tears as she felt his arms around her for the last time. She couldn't bring herself to feel sad, dying wrapped in his embrace, feeling that comfort she had missed since her Natsu had died. at the very least, she could see him again after it was all over.

She'd never really gotten over the fear of Natsu leaving. He left a single note before vanishing for a year, and no matter how hard she tried she could never find him. She tried to leave that fear behind as they began to date, it was different now she told herself. But all it took was one simple note to bring all that panic rushing back.

She'd been staying home more and more, Gray was checking in worriedly like he knew something was wrong, and Porlyusica was upping her medications gradually for what should have been a simple fix. The longer it all went on the more anxious he felt as Lucy assured him all was well.

“Hey, I’m going to bed. Don’t stay up too late, okay?” He rested a hand on her shoulder to make sure she heard, and felt distantly proud that she didn’t even flinch at his approach like she’d used to.
“Okay. Night, mom.” She mumbled, not even glancing up at him as her fingers flew across the keyboard.
Leon paused. It (somehow) wasn’t the first time she’d called him that, the first time being whilst in the midst of a panic attack so severe that she’d fainted, but he hadn’t brought it up since and she didn’t seem to remember.
“… Night, kid.” He squeezed her shoulder before heading off, hearing the frantic typing pause for a second before he just about heard the whispered,
“Oh my god.” that followed.

The Hidden Leaf Village in Naruto's time seems to have forgotten just why the village was founded and have lost their way. Through a mishap with a hiraishin seal, Tobirama finds himself during Naruto's time and he is having none of this nonsense. His brother may be gone, but he won't stand to have Hashirama's dream trampled so.
And if he has to cause a civil war or burn the village down to the ground? Well that depends on how much resistance he meets.
All Tobirama does know for certain is that no child will suffer underneath the protection of Konoha and if he has to take them in and care for them himself, then he will.
