Summary

“It’s true,” Chan muses, tipping Minho’s chin up to examine him. He’s probably a little peaky, and he’s sure his undereye bags are prominent. He’s adapted to sleeping during the day, though probably not as much as he needs. He’s hungry a lot, despite the bounty of food—Seungmin says that having blood drained takes a lot of a human’s energy, so he’s probably quite a bit thinner than he ought to be.
“We could… get another human?” Hyunjin spitballs, though he says it uncertainly.
“Just—where do we find a human?”
Minho blinks, pensive but also going foggy from Chan’s affections. “Put out an ad?” he suggests.

Summary
You walk into Tendou’s chocolate shop looking for a job.
"Tendou likes hiring foreigners. Or rather, Tendou likes collecting freaks. After all, what type of person moves to France only to work in a chocolate shop but a freak and a weirdo, himself included. He likes watching them work, hearing French words roll off of their tongues in thick accents the way they do his. It’s something of a hobby, collecting people from other places like souvenirs. He knows that the French will regard them as if they are not made entirely of the same clay, but cardboard. They will turn up their nose as soon as their mouths open to place the first icky French syllable.
Tendou offers a refuge. In his shop, the muddled French syllables sound proper and an amalgamation of languages reigns supreme even when natives come in to peer at the chocolates in the clean glass cases."

Summary
You and Tendou have been best friends since before you can remember. You share everything with each other and over the years have fallen into a friendship with clear boundaries but intimate values. When you start to notice Tendou growing more distant, you begin to worry that he’s keeping more secrets than you thought.
"Tendou gets like this sometimes. He grows quiet for a few moments as if he is weighing something in his mind. You can see the inquisitive look in his eyes and every now and then, his bottom lip will bounce and it will tell you that he’s thinking about something. In these moments, you’re never quite sure what he’s thinking. You’ve never been able to tell and you’ve reserved yourself to thinking that it is not meant for you or for anyone else."
