Summary
Upon graduation, Regulus hatches a plan with Severus to save the latter from taking the Dark Mark. There's no hope for himself, but if he can save Severus then it will have been worth it...
Years later, Regulus survived the First Wizarding War and he and Severus are now married with kids. He's managed to put the past behind him, but then his brother -- freed from Azkaban and exonerated from his crimes -- arrives on his doorstep, demanding the house and estate as his rightful inheritance, and what's worse, the Dark Mark has reappeared on Regulus's arm.
