In the cabin; in the infirmary; not so much in Tartarus, because if he’d slept soundly there he’d be dead; now here, in the dorm. He only hears the thumps around two in the morning—one boot, then another getting kicked off—because he went to bed less than half an hour ago, and hasn’t quite managed to get all the way to sleep yet.

Mortal college was weird.
Will had decided to go to college in Gotham instead of New Rome- just in case something happened at camp.
The plan was to spend several hours in the room, getting the majority of the project done now and leave only the individual sections to get done in the three days until the due date.
That would’ve been a great plan if when he arrived there were more people. Out of the five people in his group, only one other person was there.

For some reason that sounded an awful lot like Clarisse yelling at him for help, he had a feeling it wasn't gonna be that easy.
(aka, Will's chilling at college but Clarisse drags a hurt Connor up to him and forces him to help Connor in front of his shocked peers. And of course Nico's reaction and them being dorks)

When the ambulance responded to the car crash outside, Marazzi didn’t even really think. The patient was in near critical condition—he would die if he wasn’t immediately moved to surgery.
“Page Doctor Solace!” he shouted to the nearest doctor, who nodded and ran. Marazzi sighed in relief as Will sprinted into the corridor, nearly tripping over another nurse in his haste to reach the patient.
“One victim of the crash, young adult male, we don’t know his identity yet,” he relayed. “He’s going to need emergency surgery!” To his surprise, his best doctor was silent as the grave. The supervisor turned his head.
Will stared at the body on the stretcher. His own face drained of blood, leaving him white as a ghost, and his eyes looked haunted—almost like shellshock. “I can’t do this surgery,” he rasped.

Percy hadn't run away from home, despite what Annabeth might imply sometimes. His mortal uncle, who had taken him in at the age of eight, was just better off thinking Percy had died in that explosion. At least that had been Percy's justification until after all the quests were done and he saw the news: Jason Todd Wayne Alive!
Jason, who Percy had traveled to the underworld to save with the words of the first prophecy he heard echoing in his ears, was alive. Hades had kept his end of a bargain he never verbally agreed to. But how had Percy failed to save Jason? What horrors had Jason faced that Percy could have prevented?
After everything, Percy was finally returning home.
