Summary
Eggman in his latest scheme tries portal technology to explore across the vast universe. Sonic naturally tries to stop him, but Metal as always comes to face him. During their fight, the portal become unstable and Metal alongside Sage who follow her brother through the portal, causing both to be stranded on a strange planet called Copper 9.
Now there they got to survive facing murderous drones, an angsty teen robot, and of course an eldritch horror who seek to consume all. So a typical Sonic adventure but with Metal as the lead.

Summary
Years ago, Earth had been destroyed by a psychopathic sentient computer virus, leaving humanity without its birthplace. In fear, humans fled as far as they could, finding new systems to colonize and conquer, deliberately doing as much as they could to keep the evil away.
On Copper-9, there are no more living humans. At least, that was the case until the local drone population decided to explore the rest of their planet. Only a handful of functional cyropods were left of humanity's legacy upon the world of drones, the sole survivors of the species.
In order to keep their sovereignty, the drones decide to send out a signal to any human vessels that might be drifting through the stars. A simple message inviting any willing ship to their home: "Come get your humans. We don't want them."

Long ago, the very first angel was made. She was different than what one would assume an angel would look like, but she was loved regardless. One day, she was told to wait on her island home, and she waited like she was told...for ten thousand years. She thought it was by accident, until she discovered that it wasn't. Angered, she turn her back on her home, choosing to live on the island she was abandoned on. She spent the majority of her days fighting to protect the humans that had suddenly appeared, and soon found herself living with another moth, her brother, and her newborn son.
However, she would soon meet some of her extended family, including the littlest of all the angels.
