You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough (OFA has a different view however)
All Might may have chosen Mirio as his successor, but the previous OFA users preferred Midoriya and so decided that they would take the role of his trainer. The only problem being Izuku can’t see or hear them. But a bit of possession never hurt anyone did it.
OR
Izuku get regular black outs and somehow gains quirks in that time, and All Might nearly had a heart attack after seeing a supposedly quirkless child using Nana’s quirk.

It was unsettling to be hand-in-hand with his brother after so long. Hisashi was specifically looking at the back of his hand. What was he looking for? Yoichi happened to glance at his other hand and paled. He was holding the container that held his wedding ring.
“Oh, Yoichi, what have you done?” His brother asked in a mournful tone as he stared at the tan line from his ring.

Moving his bloody overpriced rag away, Yoichi pulled out his inhaler from his bag and lifted it to his face. The blue menace left a scar on his pride, but it never failed to help. Storing his biohazard into some crevice in his bag, he quickly shoved the inhaler away as well. He had about 10 seconds before he was at the 108th floor, big brother Hisashi’s office. Standing back up to a somewhat respectable posture, he slapped a small smile on his face.
Time to be a menace to society.
