Summary
Over-preening is one of the most common destructive behaviors found in birds, and it can stem from a variety of factors. Dirty wings, boredom, stress...
Phil has no idea how long he has been trapped by the federation. It has felt like weeks, but he has no real way to tell time in his prison. All he knows is that right now he is alone, and his wings are itching him...he thinks.
---------------This is an idea I had with a friend but I may make it a whole story one of these days. It is also inspired by a comic I saw drawn by Dafdaffodils on tiktok. Enjoy the short little story piece.

Summary
It is a sword, the glow of its enchantments muted beneath the blood that coats its surface. Quackity can only see a fraction of the blade, the part closest to the hilt, because the rest of it— the rest of it is—
His stomach twists itself into a sickening knot, all the air escaping his lungs in a punched exhale.
The sword is embedded in the person's chest. The sword is embedded in—
Quackity inhales sharply and all he can smell is blood, blood.
Wilbur's blood.
-
Quackity leaves Las Nevadas, expecting to have a fantastic time ridding his territory of Paradise’s desolate ruins. What he isn’t expecting is to find Wilbur, bleeding out on the dirty ground.
Turns out they both have a lot of healing to do.

Summary
His words meant nothing. He was nothing to them. They lifted their heads again, and all they saw was Tommy. All they saw was a life that could save everybody else.
So Wilbur fought.
He screamed and kicked and tried to keep Tommy in his arms, but he was sorely outnumbered, and he came into this place thinking he would finally be able to rest. He was tired. He wasn’t enough.
They took Tommy.
(Or, Wilbur and Tommy go into a town thinking they'll find safety. After Tommy is found out to be immune, he's immediately used to try and find a cure, and Wilbur is locked up to prevent any problems. All seems pretty unpog, until a new survivor group rolls around hearing about some youngins in a town nearby, and they don't take kindly to that sort of mistreatment towards the boys...)
