Somewhere far from the mountains, where no sun dares to settle and laughter curls like smoke through the cracks of a tower, something began to unravel.
A jester waits there.
Now the color of his soul jam begins to shift, blue-laced, traced with a pale white quiet but steady—its warmth bleeding into something colder, stranger. He tells himself it’s only exhaustion, that duty still anchors him. That he is still the man they remember.
Plans are drawn beneath starlight. Kingdoms are next. And when Shadow Milk can no longer stand, it is Cacao who carries him—without question.
The hero is not lost. He simply… chose a different ending.
And the world, whether it weeps or bows, will have no choice but to follow.

Summary
What would happen if the ancient cookies met dragon versions of themselves from an alternate universe? What would it mean for both groups to see their past/future through what feels like a funhouse mirror?
They can’t dwell on such thoughts for too long though, not when the five Ancients find themselves confronted with shocked beasts lashing out because of fear, and the Dragons finding themselves in a world they don’t belong to.
